You may think you know Iceland...
You took a trip there, maybe two, and saw the most popular places along the Ring Road. You set up your tripod next to others fellow photographers on Jökulsárlón beach and waited for tourists to take their selfies and to move away from behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall.
But there is much more to Iceland than what you see from the Ring Road on the classic tour. The largest wilderness area in Europe is located in the middle of the country - the vast area called "The Highlands" where, according to Icelandic legend, outlaws and evil spirits once roamed.
This adventure is designed for those who want to get off the beaten track, literally and figuratively, to live an unforgettable experience and take truly unique photographs.
Entering the rugged Icelandic Highlands is a challenge in itself. There are no paved roads or bridges over rivers. To find your way through this desert, 4x4 vehicles and a great spirit of adaptation are essential.
A UNIQUE journey into the unspoiled heart of this magnificent country.
An adventure dedicated to the discovery of unexplored sights: deserts of black lava sand, breathtaking valleys, volcanoes and lakes with crystal clear water, waterfalls and breathtaking waterways, not to mention starry nights and northern lights.
A place where you can experiment with photography, where nature is king and above all where everything is simply WILD.
